Olive Artistry was founded based on the idea that everyone who wants a profession to become a successful make-up artist should have the opportunity. We recognize that in the unstable financial times that seem to be looming everywhere today, the demand for entrepreneurs and small business owners is growing. Many people have lost their jobs or careers and are looking for a way to jumpstart their finances again. With limited budgets and resources this can be a very difficult thing to do. We have created the online programs and course work for people to get a certificate of completion in their field, and also the opportunity to start generating income with assistance of Olive Artistry.

The Founders attended cosmetics and Make-Up Schools internationally and in the United States. Being raised in Florida, one of the founders grew up with a fire and a passion for make-up and fashion. She pursued her dreams and ended up spending well over $15,000.00 to attend schools, workshops and training seminars. After learning High Fashion Make-up, Bridal and Wedding make-up, Men and Kids make-up, Photography and Print Make-up and Special Effects Make-up she soon began contracting herself out for freelance work and making an impression on the make-up and cosmetic industry. Anyel contracted her work with several high profile make-up organizations such as MAC and Elizabeth Arden. She has also participated and received praise for her talents in numerous make-up work with fashion shows in Texas, New York, Florida and Los Angeles. She also participated in working with a small group of other makeup artists and non-profit organizations in Toronto, Ontario's YWCA women’s shelters giving make-over’s to help build self esteem and enforce individual beauty with women that were trapped in unfortunate situations. Anyel has also utilized her talents working with children in after school programs in the performing arts sector. She did Make-up and effects for several children’s plays in Florida and volunteered all of her efforts to keeps kids active in the arts. After several years of recommending friends and people looking to get into the industry to various schools and programs, she soon recognized the need for a program for people to learn professional make-up skills at an affordable cost. Many people who have the dreams or goals to become a professional make-up artist found themselves unable to pursue this because of financial restraints. Anyel developed a curriculum and a plan to help people of all financial backgrounds get the PROPER education and skills they need to develop and become successful in the field of make-up.

 

Another Co-Founder pursued his education in the field of graphic and web design. Born and raised in Los Angeles California, he traveled across the country attending various art and design schools. Having a Bachelors Degree in Graphic and Web Design from the nationally recognized Art Institutes, he began his career working with high profile clients such as; Nextel Communications, Mitsubishi U.S.A. and several other national enterprises. Noticing the impact and the expensive fees that are integrated with web and graphic design, he set out to give clients an option to have a professional quality web site and print media at very affordable costs and tailored to small and start-up businesses with limited funds. He has helped several small and start-up business get their exposure and identity to compete with a enterprise dominated market. Having collaborated about creating an online educational program, they both utilized their talents and skills to reach one common goal; To give anyone a chance to become a professional in the specialized arts industry with all the tools and resources they need to become successful, keeping costs low and offering learning programs that compete with any nationally recognized trade or specialty school.

 

All founders of Olive Artistry share the same goal is maximizing their efforts to bring opportunity to individuals with a limited financial budget. The founders still work currently with several non-profit organizations and out reach programs to help underprivileged families and children nationwide.
